To participate in a community in the Resource Center, you either:
Open the Resource Center from one of the pages of your course (the resources you see will be customized for your course)
Click the Academic Web Resources tab, and select a category and discipline.
Look for the Communities section of the Resource Center. Many communities and discussions are typically available for each category/discipline combination. Click one of the options provided.
In the discussion boards and chat rooms, you can:
Select a discussion to view according to a range of criteria, such as the time elapsed since you last viewed or your level of interest in the discussion.
Read, post, and reply to messages in a discussion board.
Start or join a chat room to interact with people with similar interests.
Click Messages at the top of the page to send email messages.
Note: To participate in these activities, you must register in the Resource Center. For more information about participating in discussion boards and chat rooms, click Help in the menu bar under the Blackboard Resources header.
