The Resource Center includes the following features:
Up-to-date news about specific academic categories and disciplines
A research area containing thousands of articles organized into discipline-specific topics
Links to useful external web sites screened and summarized by the Blackboard staff
Instructor and student communities organized by academic categories
For each course, you can customize the content of the Resource Center. To access the Resource Center, do one of the following:
Click Resources under Course Options in the Control Panel, and then click Customize Resources.
Click Resources from a course page.
In the Resource Center, you can click Customize Resources in the menu bar under the Blackboard Resources header. You can also click Course View to see your course's customized view of the Resource Center. If your course is built on a Pearson Education textbook, the customized resources for your course view may have been selected already.
For students, there are two "views" into the Resource Center. If they click the Resources button from a course page, they see the customized Resource Center content you selected. If they click the Academic Web Resources tab, they see the available content in the Resource Center for all disciplines.
In the Resource Center, you can:
Read news and articles, use Pearson Education resources, view research, participate in communities, and explore the instructor center
