Customize a course

Customizing the Course Home page

You can customize the content displayed on the Course Home page. To do so:

  1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

  2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

  3. Click Course Home under Content Areas.

  4. (Optional) Select one or two images to appear on the page. For each image, click Browse, locate the JPEG or GIF file you want, and click Open to select it.

Note: To hide one or both images, click the image's box to deselect it.

  1. (Optional) For the title of the page:

  2. Click the box to deselect it and hide the title.

  3. Change the title displayed on the page.

  1. (Optional) For the instructor information:

  2. Click the box to deselect it and hide your name.

  3. Change the information displayed on the page.

  1. (Optional) For the description:

  2. Click the box to deselect it and hide the description.

  3. Change the description text.

  1. (Optional) Click Use Defaults to return to the default images and text on the Course Home page.

  2. Click Submit.

Note: Click Cancel to return to the Control Panel without making any changes to the Course Home page.
