The Course Home page opens by default when you click your course's title on the My CourseCompass page or the Course List page. You can also open it while you are working in a course by clicking the Course Home button at the upper left.
Here is an example of a Course Home page:
The course home page displays:
Course name and banner
Instructor name
Dynamic course outline that you can expand or collapse
The main folders in the course outline match the content areas of your course. You can display the contents of the Course Information area, for example, by opening the Course Information folder in the outline or by clicking the Course Information button to the left.
You can customize the Course Home page. You can also select a different course page to open by default when you or a student clicks the course's link.
Tip: CourseCompass caches the Course Home page to speed up its display when you or a student wants to view it. A good rule of thumb is to click the Course Home page button after you make any changes to your course's content. That way, CourseCompass caches the updated view of the page, and it displays faster the next time that you or a student opens it.
