Opening the Spreadsheet View of the online gradebook

1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

3. Click Online Gradebook under Assessment.

4. Click Spreadsheet View.

5. Note the gradebook legend at the lower left.

6. From the Spreadsheet View, you can perform a range of tasks, including:

• Use the vertical or horizontal scrollbars, as necessary, to see all the information in the gradebook. If you have a large class, for example, you will need to use the vertical scrollbar to see all the student entries.

• Filter the display.

• Sort the display.

• Set default item order.

• Weight grades.

• Enter or change the grade for an item.

• Reset a test so a student can take it over

• Reset a test so the entire class can take it over

• Add an item.

• Modify an item.

• Remove an item.

• View information about a particular student's performance.

• View information about a particular assessment or survey.

• Export the gradebook.
