Online Gradebook

CourseCompass automatically posts all student grades associated with assessments (except Short Answer/Essay questions) in the online gradebook.

You can manually enter scores for essay questions and for grades associated with work completed outside CourseCompass. Your online gradebook, in other words, can serve as the repository for all course grades, regardless of the format of the test.

From the Online Gradebook page, you can do the following:

• Search the gradebook

• Report by user, including:

• Find a specific student (user)

• View statistics

• Find test results

• Modify/update scores for a student

• Report by item, including:

• Find gradebook items

• View statistics

• Find student scores

• Modify/update scores for a student

• Remove grades

• Export a gradebook

• Look at the Spreadsheet View (the "master view" of the online gradebook)

CourseCompass also posts survey results in the online gradebook. To see these results, you must choose to report by user.
