Pools

You use the Pool Manager to view and work with question pools. When you first open the Pool Manager from the Control Panel, you might see pools listed on the page. These are preloaded pools associated with your textbook. For more information about pools, see About pools.

From the Pool Manager, you can:

• Add, modify, or remove a pool

• Add and remove questions in a pool

• Modify a question in a pool

• Import or export a pool

• Search for questions in either a number of pools or a specific pool

Note: You must create your question pools before you create tests or surveys that draw on those question pools.
