Importing a pool

By importing a pool into your course, you make it available as a source of questions for surveys, assessments, and other question pools.

To import a pool:

1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

3. Click Pool Manager under Assessment.

4. Click Import Pool.

5. Under Import Question Pool, click Browse to find the pool you want to import.

Note: The only file type you can import is a compressed (ZIP) file containing an XML-encoded pool. If your question pool is not in this format, CourseCompass will display an error, indicating a failure to import.

6. Click Submit.
