A pool is a group of questions that you either create or gather from other sources, such as an existing pool or test. You can create pools for any purpose, or use ones provided with your textbook.
For example, assume that you have started a project on the oceans. You could build a pool of questions on oceans by creating new questions, adding questions from a quiz about shoreline ecosystems you already gave the class, and selecting questions about oceans from the chapter-specific pools provided with your textbook.
