TestGen Tests

In the TestGen application, you can use Pearson Education testbanks to quickly create tests for your course. These tests can include True/False or Multiple Choice questions. Here are the steps you typically follow:

1. Install the software (TestGen application and TestGen plug-in).

2. Create a test in TestGen on your own computer.

3. Import it into CourseCompass.

4. Preview the test in CourseCompass.

5. Make the test available to students.

To modify the questions in a TestGen test, you must edit it in the TestGen application on your computer, and then re-import it. You can modify other test characteristics, such as test options or test name, in CourseCompass without re-importing.

You can add a TestGen test to a learning unit.

Note: To take a TestGen test, students must install the TestGen plug-in. They can click a link on the My CourseCompass page to do so.
