Previewing a TestGen test

Previewing a TestGen test is somewhat different from previewing other tests in CourseCompass. You don't have the option to add an additional question, for example, after you preview because all editing of TestGen tests occurs outside CourseCompass.

To preview a TestGen test:

1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

3. Click Assessment Manager under Assessment.

4. Find the TestGen test in the list.

5. Click Preview.

6. Review the name, description, and instructions, and click the take the assessment link to see the test questions. If you have set a password for the test, you will be prompted to enter that password and click Submit Password. Remember that the password is case sensitive.

7. Use the buttons in the TestGen interface to move between the questions or to take the test.

8. Click Mark to select an answer to a question, and Score when you are ready to grade your answers.

9. When you are finished, click Cancel to return to the Assessment Manager page.
