To modify a survey:
Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.
Click Assessment Manager under Assessment.
Select a survey, and click Modify.
IMPORTANT: You can modify only the name, description, instructions, and order of questions in a survey that is currently available to students.
To modify the content of the questions themselves or to add questions, you must first make the survey unavailable to students. By doing so, you will lose all answers for students who have already completed the survey.
Modify the survey in any of the following ways:
Modify the name and description by clicking Modify next to these two items. Make your changes, and click Submit.
Modify the instructions by clicking Modify next to this item. Make your changes, and click Submit.
Modify a question by clicking Modify next to the question. Make your changes, and click Submit.
Note: Do not edit existing image tags in preloaded content.
Modify the order of questions in the assessment. For the question you want to move, type or select a different number in the Question box to the left.
Click Add Item to add an additional question. Follow the steps required to create a question of any of the different types.
Do one of the following:
Click Save to save the survey without making it visible to students.
Click Save and Make Available to save and make the survey visible to students.
Click Cancel to return to the Assessment Manager page without making any changes.
