Combining question types in a test or survey

Each time you add a question to a test or survey, CourseCompass prompts you to identify the question type. You can combine question types in a test or survey by:

• Creating questions of different types

• Selecting questions from other tests or question pools

You may want to assign different weights (point values) to different question types.

To group all questions of the same type after you finish an assessment, you can reorder the questions as necessary. You can also categorize questions to help you find them more easily for future use.
