Adding a question to a category

To add a question to a category:

  1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

  2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

  3. Click Assessment Manager under Assessment.

  4. Select a test or survey, and click Modify.

IMPORTANT: If the test or survey is available, you must first make it unavailable in order to add a category and place questions in that category. By doing so, you will lose all answers for students who have already completed the test or survey.

  1. Click Modify next to the question you want to add to a category.

  2. Click Add Category in the Options section. If Add Category does not appear, click the Advanced button at the upper right, go to the Options section, and click Add Category.

  3. Select a category from the list and click Add to add the question to the category. Repeat this step to add the question to more than one category. You can also add a new category.

  4. Click OK to return to the Add/Modify Question(s) page.
