Setting the button style for your course

You can customize the appearance of the navigation buttons on the left side of your course pages. You can create a different "look" for each course you teach, if you want.

To specify how you want buttons to appear in your course:

  1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

  2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

  3. Under Course Options, click Course Images.

  4. Click Button Style on the Course Images page.

  5. Select a different button type, shape, and/or style. A preview of your selection(s) appears next to Button Style.

Tip: You can also click Gallery of Buttons to quickly preview the button options in a separate window.

  1. When you finish making your selections, click Submit.

Note: Click Cancel to return to the Course Images page without saving your selections.

The changed buttons appear on your course pages.
