Adding a banner to your course

You can add or change a custom graphic, called a banner, that appears on the Course Home page. To do so, the graphic must be saved in a file that is accessible from your computer and in a format that the web can display.

Note: The web can display GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) format and JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) graphics files.

To add a banner to the Course Home page or change the current banner:

1. Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.

2. Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.

3. Click Course Images under Course Options.

4. Click Course Banner on the Course Images page.

5. Next to New Banner, click the Browse button.

6. Attach a file that contains the graphic, as you would attach any other type of file in CourseCompass.

7. Click Submit.

Note: Click Cancel to return to the Course Images page without adding the banner.

The banner appears on the Course Home page.
