Use course tools>>Virtual Classroom>>Manage Virtual Classroom
You can display a live web page in the whiteboard area of a Virtual Classroom. You can click links on the page to move elsewhere on the web site or to a different site.
To display a live web page:
Enter the URL of a web page in the Location box, and press Enter.
Note: Use the format www.site.domain, for example, www.pearsoned.com.
Browse the page or click links on the page to display another page or web site.
(Optional) Enter another URL in the Location box.
Use the buttons to the left of the box to navigate among the web pages (you do not have to re-enter the URLs).
|
Use the left and right arrows as Back and Forward buttons. If you enter three URLs one at a time in the Location box, for example, you can use these buttons to cycle through these three pages. You can also cycle to a Virtual Classroom slide using these buttons. | |
|
Use this button to switch to the first Virtual Classroom slide. To switch back to a web page, click the left arrow. |
(Optional) Highlight a location on a page with a pointer. Click the pointer tool , and then click the location on the web page where you want the pointer to appear.
(Optional) Make a web page into a slide in the lesson. Display the web page you want, and then select Quick Add from Display from the Lesson menu.
Note: You can also display a web page in a slide by selecting the page's URL when you create the slide.
Web pages are treated differently from slides in a Virtual Classroom.
You navigate between web pages or sites using the buttons displayed in this topic. You navigate between slides using the Navigation menu.
Any URL you enter in the Location box is included in the Virtual Classroom archive. You can also use a slide to display a web page, but that URL is not displayed in the archive.
