Bringing objects to the front or sending them back means you can layer objects. You use this functionality when objects intersect or cover each other. For example, assume you have a straight line and a filled oval, and the straight line goes through the middle of the filled oval. If you bring the straight line to the front, you will see the entire line, including the segment passing through the oval.
If you bring the oval to the front, you will see only the segments of the line on either side of the oval. The oval covers the middle of the line.
Note: If you bring one intersecting object to the front, CourseCompass automatically sends the other intersecting object to the back. Likewise, if you send one intersecting object to the back, CourseCompass automatically brings the other object to the front. You do not need to indicate the relative position of both objects.
To bring an object to the front or back:
Select an object that intersects or covers another object.
Choose Selected Object from the Whiteboard menu, and then select either Bring to Front or Send to Back.
