To modify an announcement:
Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.
Click Announcements under Content Areas.
Click Modify next to the announcement you want to edit.
Change any of the announcement information on the Modify Announcement page as follows:
Under Announcement Information, change the subject or message.
Under Options, specify whether to permanently display the announcement on the course Announcements page.
Indicate the date on which you want to make the announcement available to students. Click the Display After box and then click the arrows next to the date and time boxes to select the desired entries.
Note: By default, CourseCompass assumes you want to display the announcement immediately. You must make allowances for international time differences.
Indicate the date until which you want to make the announcement available to students. Click the Display Until box and then click the arrows next to the date and time boxes to select the desired.
Click Submit to save your changes.
Note: Click Cancel to return to the Announcements page without saving your changes.
