Searching the Web

You can search the web from the My CourseCompass page. To do so:

1. Type what you want to search for in the Search the Web box on the My CourseCompass page:

2. Click Go!.

CourseCompass displays a Search Results page. The Search Results page:

• Indicates the number of documents found, if any

• Lists links to the first 10 documents found

• Includes links to custom folders on topics related to your search

• Lets you perform an academic search by subject area (at the bottom of the page)

3. Click a link to display the document or folder, or click Next button at the bottom of the page to display the next 10 documents.

Note: You can also conduct a more sophisticated search by using the advanced search capabilities.
