To access and explore preloaded course content in CourseCompass, go to the Course Home page either by:
Clicking the course title on the My CourseCompass page
Clicking the Courses tab and then clicking the course title on the Course List page
Your course may include course documents, assignments, Discussion Board forums, assessments, question pools, and an eBook.
To view course documents, click Course Documents in the course TOC or click the Course Documents button on the left side of the page. Click each folder in turn to see the folders and/or items in it. Continue clicking folders until you have examined each course document.
To view assignments, click Assignments in the course TOC or click the Assignments button on the left side of the page. Click each folder in turn to see the folders and/or items in it. Continue clicking folders until you have examined each assignment.
To view Discussion Board forums, click the Communication button on the left side of the page and then click Discussion Board. Click each forum in turn.
To view assessments, click the Control Panel button on the left side of the page and then click Assessment Manager in the Assessment module.
To view question pools, click the Control Panel button on the left side of the page and then click Pool Manager in the Assessment module.
To view an eBook:
Click a chapter link in the course TOC.
Click the Books button, and then click the link to a chapter.
Click Course Documents in the course TOC or click the Course Documents button on the left side of the page. Click the link under Online Textbook, and then click the link to a chapter.
Click Course Documents in the course TOC or click the Course Documents button on the left side of the page. Click the link to Lecture Materials (if available), and then click the link under Online Textbook.
Depending on the course material you selected, your course may include a PDF (Portable Document Format) eBook, an HTML eBook, a MetaText eBook, or no eBook. By default, the Books content area appears only if your course includes a MetaText eBook, but you can add the Books content area by changing its area availability setting.
