Before you add a file to a learning unit, you must create the learning unit. You can then add an item to it.
To add a file to a learning unit:
Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.
Under Content Areas, click the area that contains the learning unit to which you want to add an item.
Click the learning unit's name to open it.
Click Add File.
On the Add File page, type a name for the file you are adding.
Click Browse.
Use the arrow next to the Look in box to navigate to the directory that contains the file. Click the name of the file and then click Open.
Type the text you want to appear as the link to the file.
Click Submit.
Notes:
You can attach almost any type of file to an item in CourseCompass, including documents, graphics files, video clips, audio clips, and slides. To view the contents of the attachment, you must have an application on your computer that can open the file.
To modify the name and link to the file, open the learning unit and click Modify next to the file. To delete the file from the learning unit, open it and click Remove next to the file.
