To add an eBook link:
Click the course title on the My CourseCompass page.
Click Control Panel from the Course Home page.
Under Content Areas, click the area to which you want to add an eBook link. You can add an eBook link to the Course Information, Course Documents, Assignments, and Books areas.
Click Add eBook Link .
On the Add eBook page, click the arrow next to the Name box and then click a name for the eBook link. If you want to specify a different name, type it in the box below the list.
(Optional) Click Pick to select a color for the eBook link. Click a color in the ColorPicker.
Type the words you want to appear in the link itself, including the page range.
Enter a starting page number.
Type a description in the Text box.
Click one of the options for displaying the text:
Smart Text displays the text as it is entered but converts web site URLs and email addresses into links.
HTML codes the text you enter with HTML tags.
Note: You can also format text directly using HTML tags.
(Optional) Indicate the date after which you want to make the eBook link available to students. Click the Display After box and then click the arrows next to the date and time boxes to select the desired entries.
Note: By default, CourseCompass assumes you want to display the eBook link immediately. You must make allowances for international time differences.
(Optional) Indicate the date until which you want to make the eBook link available to students. Click the Display Until box and then click the arrows next to the date and time boxes to select the desired entries.
Click Submit.
Note: Click Cancel to return to the previous page without adding the item.
